Born and raised in Queens, NY, Joe has always been a creative individual, looking to collaborate with other creatives. From a young age, Joe found a passion for digital art and music, and has spent the past 10 years perfecting his craft. Joe has years of experience working in commercial recording studios, as well as his own various recording spaces. Joe is also well-versed in the art of original composition, and specializes in music for Film, Television, Trailers, Advertising and Video Games. Joe holds a B.A. in Music and Sound Recording from the University of New Haven, and a M.A. in Sound Design & Scoring for Visual Media from Academy of Art University.
Joe's music and sound design has been used on dozens of film and TV projects, for clients such as Universal Pictures, Sony Pictures, CNBC, Comedy Central, and more. He's worked on a number of independent films, short films, and web-series providing sound design, audio restoration, and final mixing. As a freelance composer and sound designer, Joe owns and operates a production studio in Queens NY where he provides high quality music and sound for major publishers, editors, and filmmakers.

Growing up in a house full of educators, Joe has always been inspired to educate others. Joe began teaching private music lessons at the age of 15, and continues to educate students, in both a private, and group setting. Joe provides tutoring services for a competitive hourly rate, in topics such as: Drum Performance, Guitar Performance, Audio Engineering, Music Production, Music Theory, Sound Design, and Scoring for Film, Trailer/Production Music, and Music Business
Joe currently oversees the Audio Technology Program at SAE Institute, where he also teaches various courses. He also works with a variety of other organizations, providing curriculum feedback, and guest lectures.
